Ā Food Coach Academy Terms & Conditions

(Monthly & Full Payment Enrollment Options)

By enrolling in the Food Coach Academy (FCA), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These apply to both monthly payment plans and full-payment enrollment options.


1. Payment Options & Commitment

Monthly Payment Plan
Enrollment through the monthly payment option constitutes a 12-month financial commitment of $239 per month. This is not a month-to-month subscription; it is a payment plan for the full certification program.

Full Payment Option
Students may choose to pay the full program cost upfront at the time of enrollment. A discounted rate (currently 25% off) is offered for full payment.

Enrollment is non-transferable. Access to the program is granted to the individual who enrolls and may not be shared, assigned, or transferred to another person.

2. Refund Policy

All payments made to the Food Coach Academy are final and non-refundable, regardless of participation level, progress, or completion of the program.

In the event of early cancellation under the monthly payment plan:

  • Previously made payments will not be refunded.

  • Access to course materials and client tools will be revoked upon cancellation.


3. Course Access & Completion Timeline

  • Course content is released progressively, with one new module provided each month during the program year.

  • While the program is structured as a 12-month learning progression, students may move through the material at their own pace.

  • Students have up to three (3) years from their enrollment date to complete the program and meet certification requirements.


4. Use of Client Materials

Upon enrollment, students receive access to a suite of client-facing tools and educational resources.

  • All materials must retain Food Coach Academy branding.

  • Materials may not be altered, resold, shared, sublicensed, or redistributed in any form.

  • Access to materials is non-transferable and limited to the enrolled student’s individual coaching practice as outlined by FCA.


5. License Terms

Graduates who successfully complete the program and fulfill all financial obligations are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Food Coach Academy materials in their coaching practice.

This license:

  • Is issued only after full program completion

  • Does not transfer ownership of materials

  • May not be assigned or transferred to another individual or entity

  • May be revoked if terms of use are violated


6. Program Cancellation (Monthly Plan Only)

Students enrolled in the monthly payment plan may cancel future payments by providing written notice.

  • Cancellation stops future billing.

  • Past payments remain non-refundable.

  • Access to all course content and client tools will be revoked upon cancellation.


7. Participant Responsibility & Liability Disclaimer

By enrolling in the Food Coach Academy, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.

Food Coach Academy, Dr. Deb Kennedy, and affiliated instructors are not responsible for injuries, adverse reactions, or incidents that may occur while:

  • Preparing food

  • Engaging in cooking activities

  • Trying new ingredients or techniques

  • Implementing educational tools or suggestions provided in the program

Participants are responsible for:

  • Using sound judgment

  • Respecting their own dietary needs, allergies, and physical limitations

  • Seeking professional medical or dietary advice as appropriate


8. Updates to Terms

Food Coach Academy reserves the right to update these terms periodically. Students will be notified of any material changes.
